born pre-term then jaundiced - stayed at hospital for 3 days with no other medical issues

Mild asthma – since 2016

No head trauma

Medications:

Salbutamol inhaler, pulmicort

Family history:

no history of seizures , epilepsy

Allergy:

dust ,pollen and cats

Shortness of breath , wheezes, Cough on sport

Peak expiratory flow rate 14 L/m

Diagnosis:

Asthma

Medication:

salbutamol inhaler when required

Budesonide preventer 2 puffs daily

at 5 am: Her mother noticed left eye twitching then fell asleep

•

at 8 am : eyes Staring for seconds , generalized jerking movement for 3-5 mins

neck twisted to left, her mother make her lying on her side

•

she is anxious and wants to go different school.

Examination:

afebrile , alert

Nil tongue biting , nil urine incontinence

Parents stated similar attacks for several weeks ( concern/upset)

Investigations:

ECG and FBE ordered

Diagnosis:

?Epilepsy

Plan:

consult pediatric neurologist for assessment

Send pathological results to check

Reassurance of parents
