Name — to personalize your evaluation reports and communications.
WhatsApp number — to deliver evaluations and provide support via WhatsApp.
Email address — for written correspondence and support inquiries.
OET writing submissions — the letters you submit for evaluation, which are processed to provide feedback and then retained only for the duration needed to deliver your service.
How We Use Your Data
Your data is used exclusively for:
Delivering OET Writing evaluations — your submissions are reviewed by our specialists and returned with structured feedback.
Customer support — responding to your questions, resolving issues, and improving your experience.
We do not use your data for advertising, marketing lists, or any purpose unrelated to the service you requested.
Data Storage & Retention
All data is stored securely on server-side infrastructure. No sensitive personal data is stored client-side.
OET writing submissions are retained for the duration of your active subscription and for a limited period afterward to allow you to access past evaluations.
You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Your Rights below).
Third Parties
OETlab does not sell, share, or distribute your personal data to third parties for their own use.
We use WhatsApp (Meta) as our communication channel for delivering evaluations and support. WhatsApp's own privacy practices are governed by Meta's Privacy Policy.
No other third-party services have access to your personal data.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Correction — request corrections to inaccurate data.
Deletion — request that we delete your personal data. Upon confirmation, your data will be removed from our systems within 30 days.
