By accessing or using OETlab (oetlab.com) and our evaluation services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please discontinue use of our site and services.

These terms govern all purchases, submissions, user accounts, and interactions with OETlab.

OETlab provides structured evaluation and feedback for medical referral letters written for the Occupational English Test (OET) Writing sub-test (Medicine).

All letters are evaluated using a fixed, rule-based protocol mapped directly to the six official OET assessment criteria: Purpose, Content, Conciseness & Clarity, Genre & Style, Organisation & Layout, and Language.

Every evaluation report includes an independent quality review by a doctor before delivery.

OETlab is an independent evaluation service. We do not provide classroom teaching, tutoring sessions, or one-to-one coaching.

Standard Turnaround: Evaluations are processed and returned within 24 hours of submission.

1 Week Package: Covers up to 7 letter evaluations across 7 consecutive days (up to 1 letter per day).

2 Weeks Package: Covers up to 14 letter evaluations across 14 consecutive days (up to 1 letter per day).

Evaluation Credits: Single credit purchases or credit bundles allow 1 letter evaluation per credit.

Submissions must be made during the active period of the package. Unused allowances do not carry over past package expiration.

Cancellation Before Review: You may request a full refund for any package or unused credit bundle within 24 hours of purchase, provided that no letter submission has been processed under that purchase.

Delivery Commitments: In the rare event that an evaluation report is not delivered within the committed 24-hour turnaround window due to an error or outage on our part, you are entitled to choose between a full monetary refund or complimentary replacement credits.

Completed Evaluations: Because each report involves dedicated individual clinical review and doctor oversight, fees are non-refundable once an evaluation report has been finalized and delivered.

Report Discrepancies: If you believe an evaluation contains an objective error or criterion misapplication, our review team will re-examine the report at no additional charge upon request.

You retain full ownership of the original text of the referral letters you submit. By uploading or submitting text, you grant OETlab a limited, non-exclusive license to review, store, and process the text solely for generating and delivering your evaluation report.

OET is a registered trademark of Cambridge Boxhill Language Assessment (CBLA). OETlab is independent and not affiliated with or endorsed by OET or CBLA.

OETlab is an educational preparation resource. Our evaluations, score estimations, and feedback are designed to assist healthcare professionals in self-assessment.

OETlab reports do not constitute an official assessment by Cambridge Boxhill Language Assessment or any regulatory medical authority. We make no guarantee of any specific grade or score on the official OET examination.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, OETlab shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our services.
